Flaps setup

This is how I have a CG super chipmunk set up with 6xas radio.

6->2 Flap-> Elevator Mixing Direction "-" Amount "25%"

2->6 Elevator -> Flap Mixing Direction "+" Amount "30%"

Hope this helps you.
By the way, I have a Y.S. 61ls swinging a 13x8-plenty engine for this plane.

First Flaps with Comp. Radio

The only time you would get elevator to flap mixing is when you turn on the elev-flap mixing switch.(upper right side of radio)
You can pull really tight & sharp loops & corners with this.
the flaps to elevator mix (6-2) will come into play when you rotate the flap knob.

I don't know the specific bhp of the YS 61. It is no longer avaliable.
This used to be the engine of choice for the pattern crowd untill the 4-stroker's became the norm.

I originally had a ASP 61 in the chippy and had nothing but problems with consistent runs-lots of dead sticks after hammerheads. I even tried a perry pump to no avail. After bolting on the YS I could not believe the HUGE difference in power and it turned the plane into a real aerobatic performer.
