Default new mode of make a wing

Hi Guys,

i would post a new "MY" project to realize a wing for Q40 plane.
Is a new idea..... new method

The model is a Dago Q40 of Lyle Larson, first i draw a plans and 3D model with
Rhino 3D.

So will this be a solid-core wing, or is this a new process to make male plugs? Is it something altogether different?

looks interesting, waiting to see more.

I am not trying to be critical, but the last couple pictures (the one on the left), the surface looks kinda rough in the reflection....?? What is that?

ok the material is PVC expanded..I wanted to mill directly a Foam but during the process i changed idea

Hi Fabionet. I use Rhino as well. Im interested to hear more about the CNC you use & what you mean by 'PVC expanded' material for the plug. Is that medium density tooling foam blank like urethane or similar? You might also want to consider going straight to female molds, but using high density blocks. Here is a link of a friend of mine from Belgium, he has made molds for F5D pylon & other stuff. I think the brand was Sika? The finish on the parts is about the best Ive seen.

By the way, I visited your website & saw a picture of my deck height tool... in Italian! Im afraid I charge $500 'usage fee' per website. OK - you can just send me a Q40 model & we'll call it even. Just kidding.
