Default Viper Q500 engine

Has anyone tried aOS.46fx with macs tuned pipe on one. I just got the plane and i have this engine combo now. Should I put it in?Some say the tt pro 40 or 46 is good. what do you guys think ? Thanks for any info!!!!!!

I have raced both OS 46 1-5mph faster. Not much difference.

If you plan to enter contests with it. be sure that you have the right engine for the local rules. The "official" engine for AMA event 424 (sport quickie) is the TT 40 PRO, BUT the Minnesota/Wisconsin guys race with the OS 46FX. Of course, if you are just doing it for fun, then GO FOR IT!

Yes just for fun. But I do like the speed. Any prop ideas for this combo? Thanks for the help!!!!!!

I would try at least a 9x8 or 9x9. The engine will unload once its up and going and with the extra pitch you will get some good speed so long as the engine will get on the pipe.
