The pushrods were attached and a piece of tape was used to cover the hole.

The connection at the servo is a Z-bend and the other end has ball links.

It's time to finish the Sam-Rai racer.

The landing gear was attached with 6-32 x 3/8" allen head button screws.

The engine was attached to the Jett motor mount with the provided screws.

A 1/4" diameter hole serves as the engine kill. It should be located to the right side of the engine exhaust.

The following show the installation of a Jett slim 6 ounce tank.

Locate the tank as high in the fuselage as allows. This will allow you to peak out the engine further without going lean in the turns.

I'm a fan of the muffler mounted needle valve assembly.

Fuselage holes and tubing are routed to fit this assembly.

It won't be long now as the model is nearing completion.

The aileron servo was installed on the wing. The pictures shows the construction sequence.

About 0.4 ounces of lead and epoxy was added on the left hand wing tip to counter the engine weight.

I drilled a hole and applied the mix internally. A piece of tape covers the hole surface.

The model weighs about 2.3 ounces below the minimum (60 ounces), so some lead will be applied at the center of gravity (CG) to bring it up to specification.
