Default Viper or Predator???

I know, here we go again! But, I was just wondering, since the new season has started, if anything has changed. I'm wanting to get one, and I'm leaning toward the Viper. I guess the normal is to use Hitec 225 nylon gears? Here locally, I get both arguements of which is better, Predator is light, Viper is heavy and weak, covering junk on both.

My opinion is:

Get the predator if you are going to use a sport engine or race 424.

Get the Viper if you plan on putting a Jett or Nelson on the nose.

My viper had quite a bit of work to do before it was ready to fly but overall I am happy. (Dont use stock wheels they are crap)

I went with the Viper, Tower's $99.99 sale decided it, should be here in the next day or so. I bought a couple of HS-225 too. Now I just don't know which engine for now, I have a TT GP .42, a Super Tigre .45, and a Magnum Pro .46.

Any of those engines will work fine. Check the backplate that comes with the kit though and make sure the mounting pattern will fit whichever engine you choose.
