INFO for Racing in Bowie MD
Hello,
If there is anyone on here that might have the schedule for racing down in Bowie MD, could you please let me know or post up the race dates here. Also what rules do they run for 424 racing.
Also, any thoughts as to posting a section up here as a racing calander that could be sorted by STATE and DATE?? Not sure how to do it, but then it might draw people into racing. I noticed a lot of stuff is not listed in the AMA Mag and it is sometimes hard to find out the information.
Thanks,
David

David,
For 424 all the usual AMA rulebook rules apply except that the engines must have stock head shims. It is AOK to glue/bolt the TT40 pro muffler(must have baffle and stock size outlet hole... we check) any way needed to keep it together as well as replace the stock backplate with a backplate mount, remove the spring from the carb and locktite it together as needed. We also supply all the APC 9*6 props... other than that... go as fast as you can and turn left for 10 laps!

Hi Dan,
Thanks again for all of the information. I might try to make it down for the one in Sept. You guys supply the props? Are they balanced or do we have to do that at the race?
Thanks,
David
