Raced today, doddger v-tail, Evo .40.
Any suggestions on getting the most out of an Evo. .40?

You can lower the head, raise the compression by taking out the factory head shim and install new one, and set it at .010. Now the hard part is finding the alternative shim's that's compatible with the Evo .40. Good luck!

I don't know if your local rules allow it, but using an ultra-thrust or jett-stream muffler will give the biggest performance advantage.
