RE: Seeker Kits
Hi Dave,
Do me a favor and drop me an email regarding your plane on my website. I wanted to update some information on there. Figure I would do it at the same time I add the stuff for my Pacemakers and add PayPal to the website.

RE: Seeker Kits
hey dave,
sorry for being late on this, but im curious about the seeker kit.
i realize im late on latest order and shipment, but im still interested in one of these kits.
im just gettin into q500 with a couple local guys here in so cal and ariz area. we flr sat for fun. one of the sno-birds here that races w/ us is a guy named cliff sands, who in the early days of giant scale pylon racing in madera won the world championships. were having a blast learning and fine tuning our thumbs here. id like to get pricing and availability on your kits for my next step up into some organized racing at rc speedworld in phoenix.
thx
marty

RE: Seeker Kits
Marty,
I closed the list today, and am only waiting on confirmation on one of the orders. It will probably be 2-3 months before I do another. The fuse kit I sell comes with the wood only to build one Seeker fuse (to include the tail). It includes no wing, no hardware, and really no instructions other than what has been posted here and at LCSperformance site.
This is not a business for me, although I make about $5 per kit sold. After 3 years of doing this, I have sold about 150 kits or $750 in profit for a bit of work designing, testing, and paying for the cad work. I will not retire doing this, and hope those that have bought my kits have been happy. Unfortunately, there just isn't enough guys offering this type of stuff. Its tough to justify the time for the small profits.

RE: Seeker Kits
Dave, aren't the plans up somewhere?? A guy could download them and take them to Kinko's or something and get them blown up to size.. Marty, there isn't too many parts to these quickies so scratching one out isn't too big a deal if you have the plans... I don't remember what the site is right off hand but I'll see if I can find it.

THX FOR THAT INFO LEE
I HAVE THE VIPER AND ITS SO EASY I FIHURED IT WOULD BE SIMPLE TO BUILD
IM REALLY MORE CONCERNED WITH THE TECH SPECS REQUIRED TO RACE AND ESPECIALLY THE WING SHAPE FOR BEST AIRFOIL, SO I THOUGHT RATHER THAN RE INVENTING THE WHEEL ID TAKE A ROUND OBJECT AND GO FROM THERE.
BUT I SEE DAVE DOESNT INCLUDE THE WING IN HIS KIT, SO IM RE-EVALUATING MY THINKING

RE: Seeker Kits
Marty,
There are quite a few wings out there that will fit the Seeker... I think the airfoil is the 66-012 so you could just contact one of the foam core places on the net and have them cut you a few.. I checked into it once and it wasn't too bad.. I'll see if I can find that info for you too...
Here is a website with quite a few plans on it, the Seeker included... www.q500.org/modelle.htm
