Battery pack for viper
Hi,
Installing my radio gear in my Viper, I found that my standard 4AA flatpack wont fit in it... What are yall using in these?
I have 4 S3004 servo's inside & need a battery pack for a Futaba radio. The only chargers that I have for my radio systems are the ones that come with the radios that plug in the wall so I believe that I can only use the nicad packs.
Now for future refrence for me.... What servo's (Futaba) are the most commonly used in pylon racers so I can get them later on

Geebeer I have the square pack 600 MA in most of my Q-500 ,but the NMPRA rules say you can put a 250 MA pack in . They are much smaller than 600 MA packs. See if M&M can order one for you.

Go to www.radicalrc.com and pick up a 350 mah NICD pack with futaba plug. We've used them for years and they work great. You can use NIMH packs with standard wall chargers, but you don't want to overjuice them too much or they won't last long.
The most common futaba servos being used now are:
Q500
3102 or 9650 elevators
3002 or 9650 aileron
Q40
3002 or 9650 elevator and aileron
3102 throttle cut and rudder
