Its a HUGE sod farm.
WE take off on 4'x8' sheets of plywood, and land by stalling them into the soft grass. Unfortunately, we can't fly Q40's there, would be cool since there is a ton of space.

There were no issues with my landings, just the grass that's too damn long
It's a bummer too, my Seeker was really going.. I wish I could have got a couple more chances, I seriously think I could have hit the 1:10 mark... My 1:13 was with a 12 second first lap do to a dumb thumb around one... Oh well, it's pretty much fixed already.

Yep, the grass is too long, its too bad. I had a corner of my Neme tail chip off slightly, and a hairline crack at the tail joint of my vortex which I was barely able to find.
Before the end of the year, I am going to figure out how we can race these at the grassfield. What if we pitted on the North side of the polebarn? I think we can fit it in.

That would be cool for sure... I don't have "landing issues" there too often...
The only problem with the north side of the shed would be that it would be tough to see what was going on.. I don't think it would that tough to set up if we didn't care about the wind... As long as the wind wasn't out of the north we should be able to do it...
