Talking about color scheme? Here's one for you that my partner Tom use for AMA 424 races and the red one is mine as a test model .

The wing is Klasskote, Aluminum, Black, Light Blue, and Dark Green.

Fuse is fiberglassed with 3/4 oz, tail painted with Klasskote white, and then entire fuse was shot with clear Klasskote.

Not sure if I am going to clear the wing or not. I'll wet sand the paint lines, check weight, and then decide.

I've flown these with skis before, works fine, until you hit a footprint on landing.

Couple of Viper's, mine is on the left (purple). It got tangled up with my buddy's red one in a race and was lost.

Here is a pic of my Seeker, same scheme, and my buddy's other Viper. Seeker was lost in another mid-air. I am scratch building some now and will use that scheme. The bottom of the wing is a major contrast and is easy to see, not that it is too difficult as we are racing with 25's.
