it flew, really.. I saw it. No trim needed. I hope he remembers to ditch the skis come April.
what's it made of ? how does fast does it go ? how much does it cost?

How about QE3, with that skid under the tail it looks like you could steer a boats with it. LOL

With the ski's on it how about "Pole'er Bear"
Good looking plane, no matter how many BAD jokes we come up with. [sm=thumbup.gif]

That's my first attempt at a molded fuse and tail.. The molded wing is off an R-200.. Splatt is correct, no trim on the first flight and just throw adjustments for the second flight..
I'm not sure why I did the sub-fin but by the time I thought maybe I should not use it I was too far along and didn't want to have to start over again on the plug, I had done that twice already this winter..
I've got one in the mold last night waiting for the NASCAR race to get started.. It's the first one I've painted in the mold so I'll shoot some pics of it if it turns out.

I can but the issue is that the mold was done for the 66-012 airfoil which the R-200 is not.. There is a little "hacking" that must go on but it's obviously doable..

I know you can, there isn't a racer around that can't make something work
Actually, I'm going to try and make an 'insert' of sorts for the fuse mold that will allow me to do the saddle for either airfoil.. I'm not sure it will work but in my minds eye it will.. I know, that doesn't make for good odds of success

Since Lee lives in Emerald Wis The plane is Green something with green in the name would be approaite "Green Hornet" " Green Machine"

All good suggestions, thanks.. It kind of looks like a "Y" from the back with the sub fin in there so maybe I'll steal part of a past name and go with the 'Quick-Y', 'Y-Max' or 'Y-Me'

Well, assuming the Bird of Prey wing and the composite Seeker wings from Super-T are 66-012, then no. The incidence is off by about 1.5 degrees and I have to drop the TE about .125" to get to zero.. Could it be that the slight difference in chord causes it to be off?

I don't know what to tell you.. I used a BoP wing to pot the saddle of the plug but when I put the R-200 wing on there the TE was high by about .125"..
