Q-500 ENGINE CLASSES
Just wondering about the Q-500 class , i have a Viper fitted with an o.s. 46 , if i start racing this model will i be up against other models of the same class fitted with say Nelson / Jett engines ? thanks.

No worries Mate
BTW - being in QLD - you have the best Pylon scene of the lot to ehlp you out - Big Bruce, Joe Luxford and others are all active there.
Beware - it is addictive because it is FUN

thanks steve, i have known Big Bruce and his father Ron for many years they are really great guys as so Chris Callow. thank god he doesn,t race Q-500 as theres goes first place and i don,t think Bruce races Q500 either, fingers crossed.

Man - I am so envious of you Queenslanders - Since Joe Luxford left WA, the Pylon scene is as good as dead (he was definitely the brains and the energy behind the sport there). I went out with my son a couple of times earlier in the year but nobody turned up at the venues (that had been organised by Joe before he left). We still set up the poles at one of the clubs we are members of just to practice but without a handful of us it just isn't the same - especially as my son doesn't see the funny side of "Father and Son" mid-airs. So Right now we have No Pylon and Near enough to No Combat, the only adrenaline rush we get now is winding up the O'F's and the glider pilots - not that that is much of a challenge these days
