I am finally going to break down and buy a Torque driver so I don't have to guess tighty/loosey anymore.... What are the proper torque settings for Nelson backplate, head bolts and
glow plug. Thanks.
dan

Hey BV...
You sure that your only using 18"lbs on your glowplug?? I used to use around 28-29"lbs and when I would put oil over the plug to check the seal, most of them would leak. So I then stepped it up to about 31-32"lbs.. Problem seem to go away. I agree with the 12"lbs for the motor. I do the muffler at 13"lbs (have never broke a bolt)...
Let me know on that glowplug thing!
