Default Best float plane and float plane site

I am tired of building boats, I built planes when I was a kid, if I built a float plane and just taxied it around the lake that might be fun, any advise on what float plane and site, Thanks, Randy.

Hangar 9 1/4 scale Cub is an awesome plane on floats. Easy swap from wheels to floats, flies very well with them, and looks 'right' (especially with a 4 stroke twin )

Looks like a hydrofoil, and is, but has enough lift to also fly.
