Got 'em both.

They're about equally good. OK, very good.

The Accu-Cycle Elite gives a bit more info and can do two (of same type) at a time. It comes with a power converter for $140.

The Triton2 does one and is DC only for $120. Power converters are way more than $20 usually. When it times out or such, no info remains.

The Triton2 EQ is AC/DC for $199 and has a balancer connection. Works pretty much like the original T2.

Do you want to know the best 'cycler', or just which of the two you mentioned is better? Two different questions.

Well there is a mighty big world of charger out there beyond Hobbico and you did use the word "best". I just got one of these things in my hot little hands (Tower list it for 149 and avalible in Oct.) and it is fantastic especially how it eliminates the tangle of multiple chargers before an outting with anything more than just one airplane and it even comes with a full compliment of possible patch cords.

Here's a link to an instrument grade tester/discharger. It does not charge. Benn using one for years, good instrument.

In the specs, it looks like that hitec will only charge at 1C.

I have the Triton Jr. and two of the Elites. Of the two, the Elite is better. You can use the Elite at the field or work shop. Plus it will charge two batteries at the same time. In fact, you can charge one battery and dicharge the other. Or you can cycle two batteries at the same time. Each output is independent of the other. The Triton Jr. is limited to a 12 volt power source.

I have several chargers/cyclers but the Elite is my favorite for NiCad and NiMh. I use a Turnigy balancing charger for lipos.

That Hitec looks pretty good too, might have to consider it in the future.

For my chargers that are Dc only, I keep this on the bench:
