Default smoke fluids????

I´m going to building my first gasser soon. and thinking of at some point going down the smoke route...

I´ve seen lots of people talking about home brews and also buying smoke fluids etc etc..
now I work in an events/tv company, and we have shelves and shelves of comercial fluids for smoke machines... even dry ice style that is (some how) heavy and actively sinks rather than floating (could be fun!!)

has anyone tried these types of fluids??? or should i get hold of an old silencer and give it a go???

No need to use an old silencer, just give it a try. You may just find something that works great!

The 'sinking' smoke thing could be really cool on the scale crop dusters and stuff - keep us posted!

Found a resOpee somewhere sometime back while researching smoke oil but just went to my LHS and bought a gallon.

Worked great in my Webra 120 powered Goldgerg Sukhoi, had a 16oz fuel and smoke oil tank and she took off like a pregnant

chicken, too much weight so I flew with half a fuel load and full smoke oil load and at times visa versa.
