I have a Futaba 6EXAP radio. According to the directions to mix alierons and flaps, I plug the left aileron in channel 1 and the right alieron in channel 6 then set the percentage I want. But when I move the alieron lever on my radio, both alierons move together either up or down in the same direction. Even when turn on the flaps switch (6 on my radio ) they still both move together. What am I doing wrong. Thanks for any help

Did you activate the Flaperon Mode?? Use the Mode key to access the "FLPR" screen. Then push the Data Input lever upward to change the display from "INH" to "ON".
This is on page 14 of the manual.

Once you enable FLPR, you can either set aileron differential (page 15) or leave it at zero. The next step is FLTR (flap trim, page 15). Enable it, then set a percentage. Use a small percentage to start. The manual does not tell you this: if you use 100% you have no aileron control while flaps are deployed.
If you do not want to use flaps but just want to be able to set the ailerons independently, enable FLPR but leave FLTR inhibited or set to 0%. On my old 6XAS the FLTR is inhibited to do this, not sure about the 6EX.
