Default setting up smoke on rx battery

Hey guys, I'm running a sullivan smoke pump on my 50cc yak54 and using a seperate battery and switch set up. I want to cut down some of the weight in the airplane. Can I use the rx battery to run the smoke as well? I am using a 2300 mah 6.6 volt A123 nano phosphate on the rx and with digital servos the draw is minimal. How would I set this up to work on rx power? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John

You REALLY don't want to run your smoke pump off your receiver battery

"You REALLY don't want to run your smoke pump off your receiver battery "

It may be helpful if you explained your reasoning for why not.

If it weren't obvious enough... A pump draws a lot of current - What's more they pull a lot of extra current when they first turn on. That drop in your battery's amperage could be enough to cause your receiver to reboot itself or just shut down completely. Or the excessive drain from the pump could cause the battery to drop low enough that the receiver just shuts off.
