Retracts - What is the difference between top mount and bottom mount?

Retracts - What is the difference between top mount and bottom mount?
My model airplane The Corsair Gold Edition doesn't tell me which type of retracts to get, Top or Bottom mount.

lado bottom mount, but as said, it's not what you need
