Default 2.4 questions

Ok, Im very slowly trying to get into the 2.4 race but in no way in a big hurry. So with what a few guys from my field recomended I purchased this setup (see photos) Ive got it to bind and it works great with my super 9c TX, my quetion is does the antennas need to be exsposed outside of the plane, or can everything be covered up? Im not got this mounted to anything big or very important and I know there going to be those few that dont or wont recomend these units but Im not here for that please.I just need to know if I can cover up the antenna wires or do I need to leave them out. Thank you.

Been flying 2.4 for a few years now and all mine have the antennas inside the fuselage.

This assumes normal construction, if you were fabbing the fuse from aluminum it might be different!!!

You can put them in the fuselage. Just make sure that they go in different directions. I use a smidge of masking tape to hold them in place. Good Luck, Dave

Mount the antennas inside the plane at a 90 degree angle to each other. I usually glue two pieces of thin tubing to the fuse and insert the antennas into the tubes

Also, the last part of the wire ( the uncovered part) is the antenna on the rx.

Happy flyin' Oscar
