I posted this question else where, but thought I'd post it here too.
I removed the baffle from my Thunder Tiger Pro .61 muffler
and I forgot which way it came out. Does the small end point to
the engine or does the small end point towards the out let ?</p>

You might just check the mfg for manuals and other interesting pieces of info: Click Here Google is such a nice tool ...

You could always call the tech department if you don't have the manual. I think Tower Hobbies has a few Techs on hand to be able to answer that question. All engines are a little different so I can't be exact with the answer, most of my engines either have in-cowl mufflers or pitts. My Super Tigre has a high preformance Mac on it. (No baffle)
The rest of my engines are 4-strokes.

SeamusG, thank you for the link, I e-mailed them with the same question. I'll
post the resolutes here as soon as I hear back from them.

why not leave it out? I do mine and pick up a few rpm's.

That's very true. Mac Mufflers don't have it because they are for high preformance. On my Super Tigre .51 (Ringed) I have both a Mac Muffler and a Perry Carb.
