I got 3 engines that need a home- which do you think would be the best matchup for a TopFlite .60 sized Big Stik?
Evolution .60 (2 Stroke)
SuperTigre .75 (2 Stroke)
Magnum XL .80 (4 Stroke)

Really any of them. The .60 would give you the lightest plane, while the .75 gives you some extra oomph (nice to have in a stick).

It depends on what of performance you want. I've had Big Sticks and Ultra Sticks. On one I had a Mag .91FS. It it, in my opinion, not enough. A buddy had one with an OS .61FX and it was OK. I think the ST .75 is the best choice.
My present Ultra Stick 60 has a Tower .75 and a friend's Big Stick has a GMS .76. Both have plenty of power.
I do recommend you install everything except the rudder and elevator servos and check the CG. Sticks tend to come out nose heavy. I usually end up mounting those 2 servos in the rear, the rudder servo on top the fuselage and the elevator servo on the side.

Hi!
Any of them!
It's a toss!
But prop them right! That's the main thing! APC and RAM are good as are Graupner Cam-prop or Graupner G-Sonic. MA worst except the Scimitar series that are rather good!
12x6, 13x4 or 14x4W for the .60 two stroke.
12x6, 13x4, 13x5, 14x4W, 14x5N for the .75 two stroke
13x7, 14x5N, 14x6 for the .80 four stroke

How about a ASP .91? Same size as a .61 with more power.

Thanks for all the advice. I think I'm going to put the .75 ST on it. Don't have a muffler for it at present, but I have ordered it- on backorder through TH.
I'll probably throw a 13x5 prop on it- I'm pretty sure I have one of them laying around.

I put on Macs bolt on muffler on my ST 75.

Currently in stock.
Which I side mounted on a Great Plane Big Stik 60 built from a kit.
Still need to cover the wing and install the radio.
A 13-5 is a great prop for the ST75. It should turn about 12,000 with that prop and give unlimited vertical

If this is your windy day plane you'll want more pitch and less diameter. An 11x8 or 11x7 would be good on the .75. If you're going to do mild 3D or just want to be able to yank it vertical from any attitude, the 4 and 5 pitch props will work.
