I just removed a servo reverser from an old plane and have installed it in my [new to me U-Can-Do 60] without instruction sheet. There is no brand name on the reverser. I did find that the phillips screw on it connects to some type of POT [I guess] because when you turn it, it moves the left elevator which I used to match the location of both elevators. Now the problem, I am getting more travel on the right elevator than the left. Sure could use some help.

I guess you don't have a computer radio that you can mix the 2 channels then adjust end points seperatly?

I do have a computer radio but I prefer to use just on channel on the receiver, it's much rasier in the long run for me.

The reverser will let you center the servo in relation to the other side but it can introduce throw problems that have to be corrected mechanically. With both elevators centered look at each of the servo horns, they should both be at the same angle in relation to the servo case. If by centering the elevators one of the servo horns is at a right angle and the other is not then the throws will be off. If both servo horns are at the same angle then check the elevator control horns to make sure they are mounted with the clevis pin holes the same distance from the hinge pin centerline. If either elevator control horn is further forward or further aft than the other you will get unequal throw.
Remember that a mutli arm servo horn can be rotated to find the arm that come the closest to the angle you need reducing the amount of adjustment required by the servo reverser.

Its better to do it in the radio.

Also if you're flying Spektrum/JR stuff, they specifially warn you not to use reversing Y's.

Sucess, got the elevators matched side to side on throws and both centered. Did maiden to day and did not need any adjustment for trim except elevator for to much climb. Other than that it flew like a dream. Lifted off without any stick movement at about 3/4 throttle.
