I don't know of any Charge/Switches that are specific to 4.8 or 6 volts, unless it has some sort of Incorporated LED Volt monitor rated for a specific Voltage, the difference of 1.2 volt is insignificant, that switch is safe to use with 6 volts; unless, someone else has something to offer that is contrary, that I'm not aware of.

I know the MPI 5470 with Led's can be used with either 4cell or 5cell. I have one in a plane a like it a lot. It has a battery monitor where after or before a flight you turn it on and move transmitter sticks erattic and if the led's flicker its time to charge. I am not sure but would think you can use the other with either 4 or 5 cells. I do know the one with led's to use on 5 cell you just cut the looped wire on the back for 4 cell you just leave it looped.
