Default switch for gasser

hello
does anyone have advice as to which is best switch i could use for a evolution 50 cc gas engine,
the current one i have, which is a "kill" switch system
i believe has a problem with shorting, and last weekend, i got deadstick.

i noticed that before i flipped prop, i have to turn ignition on, and the red light blinks 5 times,
i noticed when i would tunr switch on, sometimes, red light did not blink, and when i flipped, of course, engine would not turn on.

any advice would be great

thank you<br type="_moz" />

Huum???
Blinks? what switch are you using?

I typically just use a standard charge jack style switch for the pwer end and a optikill for remote on/off,, this set up has worked fine for years
