Default Dampening Engine Mount

Hi,

I want to dampen the engine mount on a piece of equipment.
It appears that placing stiff rubber between the mount and firewall should accomplish this.
I need some Suggestions on the thickness of the rubber, what to use and where to get it?

Thanks for your help,
KW_Counter

Well these dubro rubber pieces seem to be about an 1/8" thick.

Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but hopefully I helped.

These are made for a dubro engine mount but really I think any piece of rubber roughly 1/8" thick should get the job done.
