Hi guys,
Kinda new at this but had couple of questions regarding my trainer.. I'm having problems with my motor that heistates when in transition from idle to full throttle...I been through all the settings on the high/low needle settings and nothing works... also doesn't stay idle long which makes a bad situation when landing because I'm basically committed to land whether I feel comfortable or not.. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks [&o]

Could be something as simple as you have the idle set below what the engine can sustain. You have to set the linkage to the lowest possible idle and then either use a switch or trim to kill it outright.
If you run at idle and juice it it will hesitate if overly rich and die suddenly if overly lean. Also, when tuning, you have to bring it out of idle to mid-range frequently or you don't know what effects your adjustments are having.
Note also that the needle valve adjusts the high end. The low end/idle is a seperate screw in the carb - usually in the barrel of the throttle.</p>
