You can use a Rcexl one and save even more,, They happily fire DLE engines world wide

Default RE: ignition module question

You may have to change the pick up,for the Hauls sensor, from engine to engine. I can use the DLE ignition on something like my Brison but the pick up on the DLE screws onto the engine case and the original ignition on the Brison has a ring that the pick up slides into so it can be moved to change the timing. It's just a simple clip and solder job to change them. I hope I said that correctly!! If not I'm sure someone else will use the correct terms. If in stock then the ignitions can be bought from Hobby King for about $35.00 plus some very stupid shipping or they can be bought from ?? Brain fart!! The place in Oregon. Golden years my ass!!!

Not familiar with electronic ignitions. I have a evolution 40 gtx and it says minimum voltage 7.5. What is the max? It doesn't say? I think it is cheaper and less hassle with the old pick up coil..

Cheaper yes, but everything else is better with electronic ignition.
