Hello, Can someone tell me how to read an offer after you've already sent it? I thought my offer was $110.00 but seller say's $125.00 plus i've ask him 3 question about the 17.5 motor and Mamba ESC. I ask for the kv of the motor ask how many amps the ESC will handle and he's marked this stuff as sold to me. I send questions along with the offer and not one of the questions have been answered. Not unless you have paid for it. Sounds like one to just ignore and walk away from. You can do it on other sites too when someone starts to jack you around.

You are really supposed to ask all questions first , then make an official offer. Go to "my market" home and then "my offers" tab.

My offers read something like if you take $110.00 you can mark sold but I need the kv and amps the ESC will handle first, but he mark it sold on anearlier<div>offer but it still read the same way. I feel like the last offer is the good one if he answered my question which he did not do. Mike</div>

When I go to my market tab it only shows the price nothing in the text of the message nothing else in the offer not one word. If you make allot of offers how are you expected to keep up with them? If you say I'll by this if so in so that if it's 2+2=4 then I'll buy it but if 2+2=3 I don't want it. It really makes me wonder if he even has the stuff he's trying to sell because my question should be on the packaging of the products. Mike

I'm not sure about all of that. I make very few offers , but if I remember correctly Do we get an e-mail that contains the text that you typed? I can't remember the last offer I made.

If you mark your offer to be sent to you as well you will get an email of your offer to the seller. Otherwise, you go to "my market" then click on "my offers" Then under the "your offer" tab marks how much you are willing to pay. It doesn't give any text you may include with your offer, as you should ask all questions you have on the item before you make an offer. That being said, if you did give questions with the offer that you would take it at XX price if 2+2=4 and no answers were given to your questions I would go and withdraw your offer and send him a message explaining why you withdrew your offer.

I don't think it will let me withdraw after it's been accepted but I'll go look.

Mike,
You made a mistake, you should have submitted your questions before submitting an offer.

You can review your offer by clicking on the 'buy &amp; sell' tab. Click on 'my market home' and click on 'my offers'.

Allen, Thanks but it's no help when I follow your directions it takes me to <span style="font-family: verdana, helvetica, arial; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245); font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; ">Classified Ads On Which I Have Made Offers</span><span style="font-family: verdana, helvetica, arial; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245); ">  but once I'm there all I'm able to see is the item number, the offer number and the price it doesn't show text that make and agreement  an agreement Plus $10.00 higher than his asking price for the ESC and the reason it's higher is because the deal I was trying to make was for two items he's selling and it's clearly states that if I could find the offer that I send to him. He's trying to sell me one for my price of 2. I've ask him to forward me the offer but no reply. Out of 6 or 8 questions He replied once say it's for a 1/10 and not a 1/8. I've ask for specs and what I really want is UPC number under the bar code on the packages. He won't even tell how long he's had them.  Mike</span><div><span style="font-family: verdana, helvetica, arial; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245); ">
</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana, helvetica, arial; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245); ">Quote: </span><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 252, 255); font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 13px; ">You made a mistake, you should have submitted your questions before submitting an offer.</span><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 252, 255); font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 13px; "> questions and terms where sent at the same time in one offer I put the price and told if he to the price for both items and sent me the kv of the motor and the number of amps the ESC can handle if I agreed after him answering my questions He could mark it sold. But he answered no questions. Who in there right mind would buy a motor and ESC without knowing anything at all about either one of them?  Not me. Mike</span></div>

I don't see that you did anything wrong! I have made offers for cars, lawn mowers, evenmy house, etc thatway, and never been forced or told I had to buy it, if it wasn't what I wanted. No money down, no buy! Even then youdon't have to buy, just loose the down.
If he won't answer you, the hell with him! It's your money. It's not like you paid then asked the questions. If he won't answer then I would just forget about it.

You Made NOMistake!!!

Mike,
The terms of you offer should be in the confirmation email RCU sent you, if the terms of your offer were not met, you're not obligated

The guys phone number should come in the invoice he sends,, give him a call and work it out

You can't withdraw an offer after it's been accepted,, but he can cancel your offer which will reactivate the listing

I've had buyers back of out offers all the time.  Some are mannered enough to send me an email requesting that I decline their offer which I always do.  The replies here are right.  Ask seller a question comes first then you make the offer.  If this seller is trying to shove this purchase up your tail feathers, that's a red flag all in its own.  If you haven't paid, email the seller and ask the questions again.  He should have nothing to hide.  If he fails to answer, don't pay until you get the information you need.  That should solve the offer and the sale.

Don't go through with the offer with his attitude like that. You'll both end up with bad ratings and it's not worth it.

I don't think he has the products he's trying to sell. There's 2 possible reason's he not answering and giving me the UPC Bar Code numbers. Number one is he doesn't have the items he's trying to sell or number 2 is he's afraid I'll find them at a lower price than what he's asking.  Mike

At this point you should take this question to this section and ask JWN to cancel your offer for you as the seller isn't cooperating and you have suspicions of fraud

Good luck

I'd say let it go. Take it as a lesson. Its not worth dealing with that hassle over a $110-$125 deal... and next time get all the info before you confirm any price. The seller does/did have some responsibility here too though.. so don't take the whole rap for this... I don't think he should have marked it sold until he'd answered all your question, and a firm agreement was reached and funds were technically on the way. I hope it ends reasonably and nobody gets a bad rap. Good luck.
