Trying to find a set of retracts for my new Original Carl Goldberg Super Chipmunk. They need to retract straight back, so I could probably use mains rotated 90* , but dont know what angle to use. Iwant to use electrics, not mechanical as the kit suggests. I dont know if they should extend out past the leading edge, or straight down. the plans call for mechanicals that screw down to a piece of plywood, but that looks too flimsy, and I have better ideas on how to mount them and make it stronger without adding too much weight.

I'd probably go with 100* just to get the gear raked forward more,, good luck

Thats what I was thinking too. Just not sure on the size yet, I only gave the plans a quick once over to make sure everything was in the kit.
