So, we have encountered an issue which is really boggling us here at the Academy.
We have a 9C Futaba transmitter. This is regularly72mhz, which we have converted to 2.4 with the DM8 module made by Horizon. We are using the AR7000 receiver.Everything works just fine on it, except when we want to mix - specifically, link the elevator to aux1.
Let me say, I have been using a 9C for the past five years, although not this specific9C. I know how to use the radio, and have even checked the manual to ensure we are doing everything properly.
Now, one servo is plugged into elev, and the other into aux1. I know the servo in aux1 is getting power, as when I do the servo test it acts accordingly. But, it does not link! I have even tried to fool it into thinking that it is an aileron servo with no success.
Anything you guys can do to help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Respectfully,

I converted mine with the hitec module and when I run twin elevator servos I use ch 2 then into ch 8 and just activate 8. The other way I have done it is go into an open port like ch 5 and use a P mix and slave ch 5 to ch 2.
I have zero understanding of the Spektrum or JR conversion though but a couple of guys at the field have gone with the JR because of the selection of RXs. My radio operates exactly the same as it always has with the Hitec system.

Good, I have an old student that bought the DX-7 radio and when you use two aileron servos I always messed up the set up. As I recall you have to zero something then set it up? They are a lot different and if you miss a step it will bite you. I just don't fool with JR much so I tend to get lost.
