Smoke questions
Hello all,
I have been contemplating putting a smoke system on some of my airplanes. I have one that I can use for a trial set up. It has a fairly light wing loading and could handle the extra weight just fine.
I guess my only question is how to connect the pump to the muffler. I am using an os 65ax. Do I need to get a new muffler, or is there a kit to tap a nipple into the exhaust? Second, what part of the muffler does the nipple go into, right next to the motor, or in the middle of the muffler?
Also, is their a special tubing that I need to be using?
James

RE: Smoke questions
Read the article, did more research and have another question.
Is it true that using a smoke system will raise the engine temp and can create a lean condition?
