Default Ohlsson and Rice Ignition Engine

Hi all,

I just acquired what appears to be an Ohlsson and Rice 60 Ignition engine. There is no name on the castings anywhere,
but there are two very very small circular recesses on the front and rear of the cylinder barrel that may have contained inserts
with miniature logos. The serial number on the engine is: 14998 The engine has black cooling fins on the cylinder barrel and
on the cylinder head. Does anyone have a Ohlsson and Rice serial number listing of these engines so I can determine when it
was made? I say "it appears" to be a O and R 60 because I have seen identical engines advertised on E-Bay. The air intake
is in the rear via a cylindrical tube with a vertical needle valve and a built in fuel tank. It has a new spark plug and new points
on the propeller shaft with an adjustment mechanism.

Thanks
Tonino

You might post your question in the above forum. Also, if you can figure out how to upload pictures, that would really help.

Thanks Airbus, wasn't sure where to put it. I'll have to take some decent pix tomorrow. Agree - that would indeed help.

Hi All,
The thread on this subject has been transferred to "The Golden Age" forum of RC Aiirplanes - including photos of the engine.
Thanks
Tonino
