Question Engine Identification

I hope someone will have the answer for me.
I have come across many glow fuel engines with absolutely no markings on them, They look like they are OS engines in fact many OS parts will fit on them. Does anyone know who the maker is for these engines? Thanks, Bob

Bob,

Over the years about every engine maker in the far east has copied OS engines to some extent or other............Magnum is a good example but not the only one!

Most of the copies are lacking in quality when they compare with OS........

Hope I don't start a big fight here?

If I'm not misinformed, ASP engines also like to copy OS deisgns.

ASP and Magnum are the same company just different names for marketing purposes. ASP is big in europe.

If I remember correctly, one of the OS engine designers left OS some years back and did the clone design.
