has any one ever heard of this type wing,,,,i beleave it is used on form flat wings..thanks for any help

You're talking about KF airfoils. Lots of the indoor guys use them with good results. Whether they actually are useful or not has been a point of debate ever since the '70's when they were first invented, but it's hard to argue with the results on these tiny models at least.

Back in the 1960's?, there was a guy made a fairly successful hand launch glider with one. It was balsa with maybe 3 steps after the high point of the airfoil. I think the back terraces were sanded smooth with an emery board.
