Default Aeroworks?

Heard a rumor that Aeroworks closed their doors yesterday. Can any one confirm or deny. If true I hate to see it. I had the 50CC Pitts Python. Great airplane but talking with them they needed help with their customer service

AEROWORKS CLOSING!

It has been over 25 years that Aeroworks has been involved in the RC airplane industry. Aeroworks takes great pride in all that we have accomplished through our designs, event sponsorships, RC pilot sponsorships, dealer relationships and most importantly all the RC pilots we have come to know around the world. The time has come for Aeroworks to say goodbye as we move on to new endeavors. Aeroworks will be closing effective October 28, 2016. We sincerely want to thank everyone that has supported Aeroworks throughout the years and we will treasure the time we have shared with all of you.

Sincerely, Rocco and Sandy - Aeroworks

No surprise 3DHS/Extreme Flight has been killing them for years, that and the fanboy mentality of only buying what may be the most popular at the time did them in. I haven't seen anyone bring a "new" Aeroworks plane to our club in years.

I got the impression they were happy to design a great flying airplane and keep on selling it as long as people wanted to buy it. That really should be how it works, but in marketing you are either innovating or you are falling behind. There is no such thing as maintaining. Aeroworks hasn't been the cool new thing in a long time, so it's not surprising that sales went away.

That is a shame too, the guys at my field like their planes and went to get some new ones last month and found out they had no stock, good indication that the company was on its way out.

It is a real shame. Their quality was top of the heap.
