Default Sonictronics fuel pump question

Hello all,
I just purchased a Sonictronics electric fuel pump 12 Volts. I planned on using a 3 cell lipo with it that I have lying around. When I opened the package it said to power it from a dry cell, wet cell, or nickel cadium battery. Also online somewhere before purchasing it I also read the 12 Volt model will work between 7.5 and 12 volts. So I assumed 3 cell lipo at 11.1 volts I'm good. I'm realizing now that 11.1 V is the nominal voltage and when the lipo is fully charged it's approx 12.5 to 12.6 volts. All this being said are any of you running the same setup with no issues? I don't want to do any damage to it. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Pat

I run a 3 cell 2200ma lipo. I have in the past run a gel cell and a wet cell (motorcycle battery) which when fully charged puts out 13.6 volts
