Default Heat resistant super glue?

Hey everyone!

I'm trying to sand out small paint chips that are rusted before touchup. I cut short lengths of 1/8" dowel and super glued 1/8" 400 grit disks to the ends and it works great, until the glue softens and releases..

Does anyone make a heat resistant super glue? I guess I could mix some epoxy, but that would add allot of time to a already tedious job..

Thanks!

I would check with BSI Bob Smith Industries. They make glue for other applications outside of model airplanes.

Most CAs have a temperature limit of around 220F. The BSI product with the highest heat tolerance is the IC-2000 at 250F. Most epoxies have a limit of under 200F.
