Default Help!

Trying to figure my way around here.
my brother was a long time member here, he passed away this summer and he left a four bedroom hanger.
His executor is trying to find someone or a group that purchases large quantities. There are way too many to try to sell individualy in a reasonable time frame. He left an estimated $100k of mostly giant scale planes, numerous helicopters, engines, and radios. Way too many to list. Any information would be greatly appreciated even as to where I can post this.
Thank you and sorry if I'm in the wrong place.

You are fine. I'm sorry for your loss.
Are there any hobby shops near you? Most take consignments, which means you could probably move the planes pretty quickly if you price them right.
As for someone to buy them all in a lot, there are people who will do it, but they'll want to be able to make money at it. If your brother truly spent 100k on everything he had, the used value will probably be 1/2 to 1/3 of that depending on condition. An individual would probably get interested at 1/2 of that, somewhere in the 20k range. Even with that much discount, it might take some time to find a buyer.

Thank you for responding. Unfortunately his entire family and executor live in a different states so it makes it extremely difficult to sell these items individualy. Because of his job he didn't get much flight time with his collection, he did that at work.
most of the planes he bought used. He sought them out because they were no longer made or hard to find. When I was there helping him in the spring I commented about the old/worn out planes. He had his son and me take a couple of pics of a couple planes and engines and post them here. I couldn't believe it, guys were responding within 10 minutes. The one engine I shipped for him that afternoon and a guy drove out and picked up 2 planes the next day. The 3 items he sold for $9k,he laughed at me for my comment about worn out planes
One of the people who had contacted us about one of the planes told my nephew about a couple of guys out of Texas who buy collections, unfortunately my nephew no longer has his number to attempt to contact these "Pickers" so I thought I would give it a shot here. We know doing it that way they won't get full value but they wouldn't be sitting on them for years.
Thank you again!
