I just picked up this Ultimate 55 cc plane with servos, but no engine. I put a DLE 55 on plane and have everything hooked up. Now the big question is What is the balance point on this Nitro models 55 cc Ultimate? I can not find manual on line, so I am asking you to help me out here. Thanks for any help you can give. Ken C.

5-3/4" back from center of top wing. From what I recall this was a nose heavy starting point. Most Ultimates are tolerant of AFT CGs but as always sneak up on it. I put two flights on one of these years ago. I remember being pleasantly surprised how good it was.

THANK YOU, just what I needed to know. Very good advice about starting out a little nose heavy. I am going to adjust balance at around 5 1/2 inch with weights on engine box held on with screws so I can quickly remove or add as needed. I am not a 3 D flyer yet, but I have seen several U tube videos of this plane, and it looks great in air. This is my first over 20 cc gas powered plane so I hope my skills are up to task.
