Strat-O-Wing by Craig Efstratis?
#1
I purchased the plans to the Strat-O-Wing XP.40 Gen II as advertised in a 1993 RC magazine. They came full-size and use a .40 engine. There was also a VCR tape showing the plane in flight, which I cannot now find after umpteen years of military moves.
The plane itself has both elevator, rudder, ailerons and, oddly enough, a canard wing. The whole thing looked cool. The videotape proved it actually flew well.
Has anyone else heard of this design or designer? I cannot find the plane mentioned on Google. I think the designer is still around (he's my age) and tried leaving him a message. As is the case with most folks who grew up using rotary phones, he has no presence on social media (and I don't blame him).
Regards,
Steve S.

Full-size, all right.
