Default Need a replacement receiver with safe mode

I have a Bird Dog 700mm. This is my second one where the receiver went haywire. The first one was bad from the beginning. Unfortunately, I bought it early this year when the weather was bad for over a month, and I didn't fly it until after the return period was up. It never few correctly. I had experienced flyers try to figure it out. It kept burning servos. We finally gave up. Months later I bought the second one on sale. It had different receiver and servos. It flew well until a few weeks ago, then went crazy. Again several experts looked at it. The controls functioned well on the ground, but it was uncontrollable in the air. They guessed the safe system was damaged.

So, I'm looking for an inexpensive receiver with safe mode. Any suggestions?

If you are using Spektrum I would go with an AR631

Are you looking for a true "SAFE" mode with limits on pitch and bank and panic recovery to level flight, or do you just need AS3X stabilization to tame the wind gusts? If you just need AS3X, then I might suggest the line of reasonably priced Lemon receivers with stabilization and telemetry. Here is a link to a 7 channel Lemon that might work. https://www.altitudehobbies.com/coll...sm2-compatible

I have used several Lemon receivers over the years and have found them to work well and are totally compatible with Spektrum telemetry transmitters.
