Default Throttle connection query!

The throttle arm on my new ASP.91 4-stroke is inset relative to the throttle cable which runs along the outer fuz. side.
It was suggested to me to use a ball-joint linkage to eliminate any binding as the throttle is opened and closed.
The ball-joint is contained in a plastic housing which will be bolted to the throttle arm. As there is no direct metal to metal contact between the throttle bar and control cable, due to the aforementioned plastic housing, is this acceptable to eliminate ant metal to metal contact and potential radio interference?

(The supplied ball-joint bolt was too big for the throttle arm hole and I've had to change this for a smaller diameter bolt and then cut this to length).

I hope that I've explained this clearly enough.

Thanks.

Make sure that the bolt doesn't make contact with anything over the travel of the throttle arm. No binding anywhere. And that the push rod doesn't contact with anything as well, should work Fine!!! [&:]
What do you have this installed on?

The bolt will be reduced sufficiently in length and also it does not make contact with anything else over the throttle arm. Likewise with the pushrod. It will be installed in a Jamara Spitfire60 ARTF.

Thanks!

RF interference comes from random relative motion of metal to metal contact, usually caused by engine vibration. Since you will tighten the bolt securely to the throttle arm, there will be no metal to metal motion, and therefore no RF noise!!
