Hi all, just a quick newbie question. Are there agents available that can debond CA? I have to remove a brass fitting from a hole drilled in balsa and it was bonded in there by CA. Darn holes werent aligned so I need to redrill and try again in order for the flaps to work effortlessly. Any ideas?

From: gone,
You can buy CA debonder. (not sure it isn't just an expensive 1/2 bottle of acetone...
)
Acetone takes a while to soften CA... might have to make a few applcations if it has to penetrate more than 1/16 inch.
Heat will often release CA (or epoxy) from metal.

Generic (Bob Smith) CA debonder works much better than acetone.
Splattered thin CA all over a brand new covering job a couple of months ago.
Acetone hardly made a dent in the mess. Debonder took it right off.
