Default Evolution engine question

On my evolution .61 just behind the flywheel or better yet just behind the prop i think they call it a counter balance,i have an oil mist, not too bad but it is still a slight mist, question,is there a seal behind the counter balance?,also at the base of the carb there is oil on it.This is a fairly new engine/plane combination.
Thanks

The thing I believe you are refering to is called a Thrust Plate. A little oil seepage there, or at the base of the carb is not too unusual, but a mist???

Can you elaborate a bit more?

I'll try, once the engine is running i can put my hand about 1 foot from the prop,a trainer three blade 12X4 and can feel like a slight mist on my hand and lower part of my arm,i know the prop will push air over the plane and it sounds funny but yes i can feel a slight mist with the engine running above idle.

Since this question has some responses in another forum, I'm going to close this thread.

Sorry, but it is against RCU policy to ask the same question in more than one forum.
