I love the sound of a well tuned rc engine. I hate that I do not have the money nor the room for lots of rc airplanes. I hate that I have time to do what I do not want to do, but have no time to do what I want to do.

Love just about everything about the hobby.

Hate it when people on here rip someone else up saying things like "that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard" or "that is not the correct way to do it" and then a week later the same person is asking how to find the glow plug on his engine or asking how to start the engine or something like that. Really frusterating sometimes cause the real person asking the question doesn't realize that the advice he is getting from someone who has never flown is bad and can cause more damage.

I love my airplanes, hate the fact I don't know where to store that big one I've been wanting.

I love flying them, I hate people telling me I have to have this or that in order to do so.

I love my spads, I like to crash them, I hate to replace the prop though.

I hate it when one poster criticizes another poster for their answers. We all have different ways and methods, and we never get to learn it all (although some people think they know it all).

I love the way that some modelers are always eager to help others.

I hate the way that some modelers are not eager to help others.

I hate the fact that I have too many planes. I would like to get rid of all of them and start over.
(I actually do sell most of them every 10 years or so).

I hate all this hype about hovering. What's the big deal. If I wanted to hover, I would get a heli. My flying field is over 1,000 acres, I intend to use all of it.

I hate Extras, Caps, Sukhois, etc. What has happened to "individuality". I go to the field, everyone else has Extras. I have a piece of junk , but I always have more fun than the others.

I love a plane that has crashed (and survived) many times. Many good flyers have crappy planes. Who cares what it looks like, as long as it is safe.

I hate being old, won't be able to fly forever. I love being old, cause now I have more time to fly.

I love having a wife who doesn't care how much I spend on my hobby. She buys $5,000 horses, I buy $500 planes. I'm happy, she's happy.

I like most people, (only love my wife)..

I hate it when I can't get a response to a serious problem, then some guy who asks "what's the best way to put my prop on" gets 200 responses. I hate "trollers".

I hate it when I spend an hour answering a dumb post like this when I could be out flying lol.

Love this hobby

I love this hobby.

I hate when somebody tells a newbie sure I can fly your plane and puts it in the ground.

I hate when the club instructor is the worst flyer I have ever seen. He's gone now. Thank God.

I love helping a new guy. And seeing his first solo.

I hate seeing his first crash.

I love seeing him come back with it repaired good as new.

I love the ride home with all my plane clean and intack after a long day of flying.

I love this forum.

I love being a builder, designer and intermediate pilot.

I hate trying to find more space to store the models I'm always building.

I love being retired, (since 1977) and having all the building time I want.

I hate the continuing references to "Rich man's toys".

Love flying. Hate the lack of flying fields and the people who move in next door and later and complain about the noise.

Who me?? Nah.... lol

What I love most are the memories. I have a photo album chock full of pics, all my old flying fields, friends, their planes, flyins, pylon races, my student pilots, and remembering their grins when they first solo off the umbilical.

Air Mail: My first instructor was the hobby shop owner. He took my plane up, handed me the box and said "fly it". It crashed. He said fix it and we will try again. I never called him back. I had to learn by myself, not a fun task. I love the trainer cord, and love the fact that my students trust me.

[/quote]I would have bought a new plane from the same guy. Paid with a check and the next day canceled payment.
I to learned by myself. But that's the way I wanted too. It wasn't as hard on me as it was on the plane.

Once I could fly good enough to join a club (and AMA) a super guy took me under his wing, hooked me up to a cord. After a couple of sessions I was actually doing aerobatics with my ugly plane. If not for him, I might not be in this hobby today. That was 30 years ago. A few years after that, I took flying lessions (full scale), I didn't tell the instructor I was an RC pilot until he was totally dumbfounded that I learned so fast. He wouldn't let me fly the Cessna 172 inverted though...darn

Topic: I love the new plane I'm scratch building. I think it's my best effort, very simple low wing sport type. I ran out of Monokote, waiting for my order to come in ( don't like that too much ) but I don't hate it.
