Default Glitches of an Extra 330

Hell Fellow RCers

Well I have a DPM Extra 330 that I bought from a guy. I seen him fly it several times and he had no problems whatsoever. The only thing that I switched around was the receiver, which was an 8 ch supreme hitec and I switched it to a 127DF Futaba. I get glitched all the time. I have checked all linkages and all common things why you get glitches and everything is fine. Could it be the reciever to close to the ignition to the motor, could it be the receiver. Can anyone please help my out.

Thanks

Good luck flying,

Shane

I have seen a Futaba 127DF not work in some airplanes when a Futaba 148DF works fine. My point is some receiver's seem to react different in one plane then an other. The question I have is are all the components mounted the same as they had been with the Hitec? Second is you said something about ignition. If this is a spark ignition the other guy was fortunate using FM. Some people use FM with no problems but my opinion is PCM with a spark ignition.

If it is a Gasser, keep all wires as far away from the engine as possible. And make sure that any pushrods going to (or near) the engine are not solid metal (IE, Nyrod with metal ends are OK)
