Has anyone else have any problems with connectors? Specifically between Futaba servos, Hitec receivers and Hobbico aileron extensions. My Futaba servo connectors are a very tight fit into a Hitec receiver. The Hobbico extensions are also very tight with the Futaba male servo plugs, both inserting and removing. Has anyone found a good solution (besides staying with only one brand)?

Hi Max,
If you look at the plug on the Futaba, you will notice it has a small tab on one side. File that tab off before you try to put it in the Hitec Rx.
You will find they go in quite easy.
Good luck.

Sorry that I didn't mentioned that I knew about removing the tab - just assumed that it was common knowledge. In spite of removing the tab, I still have a hard time inserting the Futaba plug into the Hitec receiver. And those @#$@@ Hobbico connectors, well let's just say that there will never be any crashes due to a connection coming apart.
Thanks for you reply, just love the exchange of information!!

Yep, I have a handful of plugs that I have had to sand down a little so they plug into an Electron6 Rx. The Airtronucs and Jr slide in like butter, the Futaba's are as tight as a frogs butt.
