I have a Top Flite Freshman trainer. This kit was produced before they included the control throws in the manual. What would be a good starting point to set them at(low and high rates as well)? Thanks for your help.

Here is a listing of discontinued Top Flight planes. The Sierra Trainer 40 looks like a good place to start.

Thanks for your help. I will give it a try.

First thing I would be sure of is the planes CG per the plan. Then the throws would depend on the radio you are using. If you have the capability go with a touch larger throws than the Sierra and mix in some neg expo. so the controls arn't so touchy.
